Took the Internato Complementar (Complementary Internship) Access Exam on November 29, 2007, which resulted in 281st place out of a total of 1073 candidates.
He did the Common Year of the Medical Internship at Santa Maria Hospital E.P.E., in Lisbon, from January 21 to December 31, 2008. He obtained the classification "apt" in all areas.
He selected the specialty of Urology, on November 27, 2008, having occupied the only vacancy for specific training in Urology available at the Urology Service of Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Norte, directed by Prof. Dr. Tomé Lopes.
He did his Complementary Internship in Urology from January 2009 to December 2014, at the Urology Service of Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Norte, initially under the supervision of Dr. José Maria Alves.
