On 17 November, FMUL's Office for Innovation and Entrepreneurship attended the CNEM 2019, National Conference of Medical Students.
The CNEM organization invited Dr Sónia Teixeira to give a workshop on Innovation and Entrepreneurship on Sunday, a day dedicated to lectures at ISCTE, and was filled with workshops
Thus, with the topic “I have a project, now what?”, and before medical students from all over the country, from Covilhã to the Algarve, we talked about great inventions in the area of medicine, the main steps to develop an innovative project, and how knowledge of future doctors and current health needs can converge. Some practical activities were also carried out in order to involve workshop participants mainly in these areas.
It was amazing to see the students' motivation to learn more about innovation processes, how they can create their own projects, and we were pleased to see that there were very positive reviews.
We thank CNEM’s invitation, and it is always an honour to represent FMUL in these events.
Sónia Teixeira
