FMUL Activities Report | 2022

FMUL Activities Report 2022 was unanimously approved by the School Council in a meeting held on April 19, 2023.

This report constitutes a handover, which occurred at the end of July, from the previous Board of Directors to the current one. It is, therefore, an exercise in continuity of activities, strategic adjustments, and the introduction of new courses of action. The activities also reflect the impact of the final phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, the new reality of the war in Ukraine and the associated humanitarian and economic shock waves.

The Activities Report 2022 reflects improvements in the instruments for identifying and recording activities, in order to mirror as best as possible the reality of the FMUL. This implied work and dedication across the entire structure of the Faculty.

I want to highlight the institutional relationship with the partners of CAML (Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte and Instituto de Medicina Molecular - João Lobo Antunes), which was exemplary.

An acknowledgement of the extraordinary work of the teaching and non-teaching staff, sometimes in very adverse conditions, which has allowed the continuous progress of the FMUL. I also want to give my recognition to the students for their extraordinary dynamism and social participation, and for being a decisive contribution to the spirit of the FMUL community.
