Luísa M. Figueiredo

Dr. Figueiredo has over 20 years of experience in molecular parasitology, and extensive experience in host-parasite interactions between African trypanosomes and the mammalian host. Her lab studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms of disease, with a particular interest in tissue tropism, metabolism, and antigenic variation.
